As a massage therapist, I have found the opportunity to contribute to the betterment of others lives through wellness. I strongly believe that by using massage and reflexology to reduce stress, clients will see an increase in productivity and retention thus giving them more incentive and enjoyment in their daily lives. For these reasons my practice is dedicated to interacting with each person to create a treatment that will be most beneficial to your individual wellbeing. This often results in the use of various forms of therapies such as deep tissue, myofascial, trigger point and reflexology. In this way, my focus is on enhancing your health and wellbeing through a restorative and rejuvenating practice.
This creative and interactive process of massage therapy appeals to my innermost passions and experience. Prior to becoming a massage therapist, I spent 20 years as a graphic designer. I have also always been involved in some form of physical creativity through dance, gyrotonics or tai chi. As a massage therapist, I believe my background can bring balance and harmony to your therapeutic and healing treatments.
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist by both New York State and the National Certification Board. I graduated from the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy. To further my commitment to your wellbeing, I became an ARCB board certified Reflexologist and a certified Prenatal and Postnatal Practitioner. Along with my private practice, I have experience working with clients at wellness centers, physical therapy offices, hospitals, hospices, corporate and fitness facilities.
